AGM Meeting
28th AGM (July 2024)
The 28th AGM of Dakshini Society conducted on 14th July at Orchid hall , Moggapair ; an event full of enthusiasm, Professional etiquete , financial presentations followed by complimentary dinner.
The outgoing Executive Committee presented all the transactions they have initiated in last two year including Financial results for 2023-24.They have intiated multiple resolutions which has been passed in voice vote. The meeting started with opening remarks by outgoing President Mr.Somojit Ghosh followed by Secretary Mr.Subir Shaw’s presentation on society’s achievements in last two years. In between we had brief comments from Joint secretary Mr. Goutam Banerjee & Joint treasurer Mr.Aritra Seth.Our Treasurer Ajit Sarkar presented Dakshini’s balance sheet & financial statements for F.Y. 2023-24. Vote of thanks on behalf of outgoing executive committe was delivered by Vice president Mr. Vikram Pal choudhury.
We express our gratitude to all the members of outgoing Executive Committee for their stupendous work for the welfare of Dakshini Society.
Our advisory committe members, Sri Amal Banerjee & Sri Abhijit Seth along with trustee member Sri Somojit Ghosh welcomed new executive committe members . a) President Mr. Mukul Dasgupta , b) Vice President : Mr. Sanjay Bhamidimarri c) Secretary: Mr. Biplab Choudhury,d) Joint secretary : Mr. Samrat Deb e) Treasurer : Mr. Arunabho Roy Choudhury & f) Joint Treasurer : Mr. Debjyoty Choudhury . The charge handover process was so smooth & well organized.
The new EC committe addressed members of the society & declared date for next meeting to declare sub committes & further course of actions. The new president Mr. Mukul Dasgupta announced the list of members for Advisory Board, , Governing Body & Trustee Members for Dakshini Society for 2024-25.
Hence forth Dakshini Society will govern through it’s empowerment Committee GATE.(Governing Body/Advisory board/Trustee Members/Executive Committee). The colourful yearly Magazine of Dakshini Society for 2023-24 edited by Mrs Mitali Banerjee has also been published & distributed among members.
The meeting started with Bong’s favourite Tea & vegetable chop & ended with delicious complimentary dinner which included Plain Rice, Roti, Dal , Dhokar dalna, chicken/mutton kasha, Aamer chatni & Ice-cream .Thanks to our catering committee for the beautiful arrangements.
We wish all the best to our new Vibrant Executive Committee.Hope Dakshini Society will fly high.
