Durga Puja 2024

The Dakshini Society organized a magnificent Durga Puja celebration from October 8th to 12th, 2024, at the BSNL Community Hall in Annanagar.

Celebration Highlights

Puja and Devotional Activities: The society conducted traditional Durga Puja rituals, offering prayers and worship to the goddess.
Cultural Programs: Members of society showcased their talents through captivating cultural performances, including music, dance, and drama.
Competitions and Prizes: Exciting competitions were held, with prizes awarded to the winners, adding to the festive spirit.
AC Hall and Ambiance: The BSNL Community Hall was transformed into a vibrant and comfortable space, complete with air-conditioning, to ensure a pleasant experience for all devotees.
Bhog, Lunch, and Prasad: Delicious bhog, lunch, and prasad were served to devotees, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Bisorjon and Gala Dinner: The celebrations culminated with a grand Bisorjon ceremony on October 12th, followed by a gala dinner, marking a fitting conclusion to the festivities.

Kali Puja 2024

On October 31st, 2024, the Dakshini Society organized a magnificent Kali Puja celebration at the BSNL Community Hall in Annanagar. The event was a grand success, with members and their families coming together to revel in the festive spirit.

Highlights of the Celebration:

Kali Puja Rituals: The ceremony began with traditional Kali Puja rituals, performed with utmost devotion and fervor.
Dinner and Delicacies: A sumptuous dinner was served, featuring an array of traditional Bengali delicacies that delighted the taste buds of all present.
Diwali Celebrations: The evening also witnessed Diwali celebrations, with members and their families’ lighting firecrackers and exchanging warm wishes.

A Joyous Occasion:

The Kali Puja celebration was a joyous occasion that brought the community together. The Dakshini Society’s efforts to organize this event were widely appreciated, and everyone looked forward to the next celebration.

Dakshini Youth Brigade - Unforgettable Outing

On October 27th, 2024, the Dakshini Youth Brigade embarked on an exciting full-day outing that will be etched in their memories forever. The group set off early in the morning by bus, eager to kick-start their adventure.

A Delicious Start:

The first pit stop was at Barbeque Nation in Saidapet, Chennai, where the team indulged in a mouth-watering lunch. The aroma of sizzling barbeque and the warmth of good company set the tone for a fantastic day ahead.

Beachside Fun:

Post-lunch, the group headed to the beach, where they let their hair down and enjoyed the sun, sand, and sea. Laughter and excitement filled the air as they played games, took part in fun activities, and simply reveled in each other’s company. To beat the heat, the team enjoyed cool treats like ice cream, making the day even more special. As the sun began to set, the Dakshini Youth Brigade reluctantly boarded their bus, carrying back memories of a day filled with joy, excitement, and camaraderie.

A Day to Remember:

The outing was a resounding success, with everyone returning home with huge smiles on their faces. The Dakshini Youth Brigade’s full-day outing will be remembered for a long time, and the team is already looking forward to their next day out together.

New Year Celebration

A wonderful way to bid farewell to 2024 and welcome 2025! Dakshini Society, Annanagar’s gala party at Sunder Mini Hall was an unforgettable celebration.
