Social Activity at SRS Sarvodaya Girls Hostel

On 10.11.2024, members of Dakshini Society organized a heartwarming social activity at SRS Sarvodaya Girls Hostel, Chetpet Chennai. The event aimed to spread joy and positivity among the hostel girls.

Key Highlights:

  1. Snack Distribution: Distributed snack packets to bring smiles to the girls’ faces.
  2. Lunch Service: Provided a nutritious and delicious lunch to the hostel residents.
  3. Grocery Distribution: Donated essential groceries to support the hostel’s daily needs.
  4. Quality Time: Spent quality time with the hostel girls, engaging in conversations and activities.

The event was extremely well-organized and satisfying, with all participants feeling fulfilled. The hostel residents expressed their gratitude, and the Dakshini Society members felt proud to have made a positive impact.

CSR Activities

At the 2023 Durga Puja Festival , Dakshini Society unveiled its 2023-24 CSR commitments, by supporting the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, Chief Minister’s Public Relief, and other several NGOs. To mark its upcoming 30th year Durga Puja Celebration, Team Dakshini also launched a ‘Go-Green’ initiative, planning of the plantation of 30 trees before 2024 Durga Puja Festival in Chennai & Kanchipuram . We’re thrilled to announce that Kanchi Siragugal team (NGO based at Kanchipuram) successfully completed this project in September 2024, and we’re proud to share this environmental milestone.

CSR Activities

DAKSHINI SOCIETY, Chennai is always very much committed for its social obligation. In the FY 2023-24 they have not only completed religious, social and seasonal commitments along with stand for cause of the society. The last one is stand for its Badminton Quality circle ‘’Lakhya’’ for improvement of its member’s fitness . We are running this since last 8 years without any break.
We began the Durgapuja festival by planting 5 trees and committed to Plant 30 trees in total before beginning 30th year celebration of “Durga Puja”
