31 Years of Togetherness

Dakshini Society, Chennai has been formed in the year 1995 with an objective to Bring together the people of different communities, religion & language on a common platform. To conduct social, cultural, religious activities in harmony with the cultural heritage of the country. It is a community away from the home for not only Bengalis but the peoples from all cultural heritages here in Chennai.

We not only celebrate festivals like DURGA Puja, KALI Puja, SARASWATI Puja, HOLI etc. but also actively participate in charity work and community services. Our Durga Puja celebration is one of the largest bong puja in chennai in terms of footfall. Our legacy is our committed members. Their whole hearted support and bonding makes us a vibrant family. Our members are the threads that stitch our family together, and we are stronger, brighter, and more resilient because of each and every one of them.
